3-Inch Mandrel-Bent 304 Stainless Intercooler Pipe Kit

The STM Evo 7/8/9 3" Stainless Steel Upper Intercooler Pipe Kit is engineered to enhance airflow for boosted performance. Constructed from durable, 3-inch mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel with a lightweight .049" wall thickness, this kit is designed to improve boost capacity and overall engine performance. It also features a welded 3/8" AIT bung for an Air Intake Temperature sensor, with an included plug if the sensor is not used. STM products are made in the USA and come with a lifetime warranty. Fitment is specific to the CT9A 2001-2006 Mitsubishi Evolution 7/8/9 models. Crucially, this kit does not fit ACD models. It is designed to work with most intake manifolds utilizing the factory throttle body location, including OEM, Skunk2, JMF Sheetmetal (current version), Driven Innovations, and AMS F1, but it will not fit the JMF Billet manifold. It is compatible with S90 70/74 and Full Blown throttle bodies, though buyers should verify their specific TB inlet size. The pipes will not clear a factory-sized battery; the STM Evo 7/8/9 Small Battery Kit is recommended. The kit is compatible with STM, OEM, Buschur, and stock-placement aftermarket intercoolers such as ETS. The pipes are flanged for a 50mm TiAL blow-off valve and work with TiAL Q and QR models. Available finishes include Brushed Stainless, Wrinkle Black Powdercoat, and Gloss Black Powdercoat.
