It includes a heavy-duty, powder-coated steel heat shield that integrates with the factory air scoop to direct cold air into the intake, providing a cooling effect. This kit utilizes HPS's signature reinforced silicone hoses and industrial-grade 100% stainless steel T-bolt clamps, ensuring durability and reliability even under extreme driving conditions. The included High-Flow conical air filter is washable, reusable, and designed with increased surface area for greater dust capacity and extended service life. The system is engineered to produce dyno-proven performance gains of +8.2 Whp horsepower and +11.9 Ft/lbs torque while not requiring a tune and not triggering a Check Engine Light (CEL). No modifications are required for installation, and the system is a direct bolt-on replacement. However, it is important to note that this intake system is NOT CARB exempt.
