The HPS Performance Charge Pipe (part number 17-158) is engineered to provide a significant performance upgrade for the 2019-2024 BMW 330i G20 equipped with the B48 2.0L Turbo engine. It directly replaces the stock plastic charge pipe, which is known to be a weak point prone to cracking or splitting. This upgrade utilizes 3-inch mandrel-bent aluminum tubing to optimize airflow, aiming to maximize performance gains. It features a 3-ply reinforced silicone coupler designed for high-pressure and high-temperature resistance, along with industrial-grade stainless steel embossed hose clamps to ensure a leak-free seal. Additionally, it includes a billet aluminum quick connect adapter to streamline the installation process and an 1/8" NPT bung for convenient installation of accessories. It also does not necessitate a re-tune or trigger any check engine lights, making it a straightforward performance enhancement. The product comes with a 2-year warranty. However, it is noted as not being street legal in all U.S. states and specifically not legal for sale or use in California.
