3-Inch Mandrel-Bent Aluminum Cold Air Intake

This race-inspired, aggressive-looking intake system is specifically designed to fit EG, EK (with EKK2 mounts only), and DC2 chassis when utilizing the K-Tuned Passenger Side Radiator and an RBC or RRC intake manifold. It can also be adapted to fit with the factory PRB/PRC manifold. The piping is constructed from 3-inch diameter, mandrel-bent aluminum tubing, ensuring a perfect fit within the engine bay, positioned just in front of the transmission case. The front air filter is strategically placed behind the front bumper grille to maximize the intake of cold ambient air. For track day applications or maximum airflow, the air filter can be removed, and an open V-stack design has been shown to provide a slight increase in mph in drag racing scenarios. This intake system has been dyno-tuned to optimize horsepower gains, with careful consideration given to pipe diameter and length. It is compatible with K-swapped cars and requires specific mounting and manifold configurations for proper fitment, including the K-Tuned Passenger Side Radiator and an RBC/RRC intake manifold.
