3-Inch Mandrel-Bent Aluminum Intercooler Charge Pipe

The HPS Intercooler Cold Side Charge Pipe is engineered to enhance the performance of your BMW 535i (2011-2017) equipped with the 3.0L Turbo N55 engine. This upgrade directly replaces the restrictive factory plastic charge pipe, aiming to optimize airflow and increase air volume. The charge pipe is constructed from durable 3-inch, mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum tubing with a CNC-machined billet flange for longevity. Designed for enhanced performance, this charge pipe offers a less restrictive path for air from the intercooler to the throttle body, potentially increasing horsepower by up to 5 Whp and torque by 5 Ft/lbs at 5400 rpm. It also includes a 1/8" NPT bung for the installation of methanol injection systems, boost gauges, or nitrous systems, and comes with a new O-ring for the throttle body connector, addressing known deterioration issues with the original part. Installation is designed to be straightforward, typically completed in under 45 minutes with basic hand tools. Crucially, this charge pipe does not require any ECU re-tuning or permanent modifications to your vehicle and is not expected to trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL). The kit includes the aluminum charge pipe, a new throttle body O-ring, high-temperature silicone couplers, stainless steel T-bolt clamps, and installation instructions.
