3-Inch Mandrel-Bent Cold Air Intake

This race-inspired intake features aggressive styling and a design that fits all EG, EK (with EKK2 mounts only), and DC2 chassis. It requires the use of K-Tuned's Passenger Side Radiator kit and an RBC or RRC intake manifold, though it can also be adapted for use with the factory PRB/PRC manifold. The intake piping is constructed from 3-inch diameter, mandrel-bent aluminum tubing for optimal flow and a precise fit within the engine bay, positioned just in front of the transmission case. The front air filter is strategically placed behind the front bumper grille to draw in a high volume of cold air. For track day use or maximum airflow, the air filter can be removed, and an open V-stack option is available, which has shown to provide a slight increase in mph in drag racing applications. Available options include different pipe sizes and filter types, such as a velocity stack with a filter or a regular filter, to suit specific performance goals. The system has been dyno-tuned to ensure optimal horsepower gains.
