3-Inch Mandrel-Bent Cold Air Intake System

The CTS Turbo Air Intake System is engineered to boost performance for specific Audi and Volkswagen vehicles equipped with the EA888.3-B engine. This 3-inch diameter intake system is the largest available from CTS Turbo, designed to provide optimal airflow for tuned vehicles. It utilizes the OEM air scoop to feed cold air into the system, which then passes through a high-flow, reusable air filter featuring an inverted cone design for maximum air intake. The 3-inch CNC mandrel-bent aluminum piping is powder-coated in black and is designed for smooth air entry into the engine, minimizing turbulence and maximizing breathing efficiency. This intake system is constructed with durability and performance in mind, featuring 4-ply silicon connectors and stainless steel clamps for a secure fit. A heat shield and airbox are integrated to help insulate the intake from engine heat, ensuring only cold air reaches the engine. The product details specify that the MAF sensor shown in images is not included. Peak power gains of 8-10 HP are reported on otherwise stock vehicles. CTS Turbo also recommends disabling the vehicle's Soundaktor (noise amplifier) to fully appreciate the intake's aggressive, race-inspired sound and mitigate potential drone. This intake system is specifically designed for 2018-current VW Tiguan MQB models with Gen3B engines and 2018-current Audi A3/TT/Q3 models with 1.8T or 2.0T EA888.3-B engines.
