3-Inch Mandrel-Bent Stainless Steel High-Flow Catted Downpipe

The factory downpipe is a significant restriction, limiting horsepower gains, particularly when the vehicle is chipped. This aftermarket downpipe addresses that by allowing exhaust gases to exit more smoothly. Constructed from T304 seamless stainless steel tubing with a 3-inch diameter, this downpipe features T304 stainless steel flanges, a T304 stainless steel O2 bung, and is 100% TIG welded for durability and optimal flow. It also includes Torca Accuseal stainless steel clamps for secure installation and a modular design that simplifies catalytic converter replacement. Fitment includes the 2015-2020 VW Golf AWD Alltrack/Sportwagen 4motion, 2015-2020 VW Golf R, 2015-2020 Audi A3 Quattro, 2015-2020 Audi S3 Quattro, and 2015+ Audi TT/TTS Quattro models. To prevent a Check Engine Light (CEL) from occurring due to the high-flow catalytic converter, proper tuning software, such as Stage 2 software, is required. CTS Turbo recommends this high-flow cat for environmental considerations. While an optional CEL eliminator can reduce the possibility of a cat efficiency code, it is not 100% effective. For the best experience, disabling the Soundaktor (noise amplifier) is also recommended to enjoy the true engine sound and mitigate potential drone caused by the device.
