It is constructed from mandrel-bent 3-inch 304 stainless steel with a thick flange and cast stainless steel housing for maximum airflow and improved performance. The divorced wastegate design separates exhaust flow from the turbo to reduce turbulence, which is optimal for stock and smaller turbo upgrades. This downpipe also helps reduce boost spike by adding back pressure.

Constructed from mandrel-bent 3-inch 304 stainless steel, it features a thick flange and a cast stainless steel housing designed to maximize airflow and boost overall performance. The unique divorced wastegate design incorporates a plate that protrudes into the turbocharger, effectively separating exhaust flow to minimize turbulence. This configuration is particularly beneficial for stock and smaller turbocharger upgrades. This downpipe includes a high-flow catalytic converter, though it is not emissions legal and may still trigger a Check Engine Light in some instances. The added back pressure from the high-flow cat also assists in reducing turbo boost spike. The bellmouth is 4 inches in diameter, and the entire unit is crafted from durable 304 stainless steel. Installation is facilitated by its design, allowing it to be bolted directly to any Invidia exhaust system or the stock exhaust for a straightforward fit. The benefits extend to enhancing power by efficiently freeing up excess gas, with the potential to add several horsepower even to a stock exhaust system. It is important to note that this downpipe is only compatible with vehicles equipped with manual transmissions. Applications include the 2008-2014 Subaru Impreza WRX (EJ255), 2008-2021 Subaru Impreza WRX STI (EJ257), 2005-2009 Subaru Legacy GT, 2009-2013 Subaru Forester XT, and 2005-2009 Subaru Outback XT. The product comes with a limited 1-year warranty from Invidia.
