The CTS Turbo downpipe is a 3-inch performance exhaust component designed for EA211 engines. It features a high-flow, 200-cell metallic race catalytic converter to improve exhaust gas flow and potentially increase horsepower. Constructed from T304 seamless stainless steel tubing with T304 stainless steel flanges, it is 100% TIG welded for durability.

The CTS Turbo 3" downpipe is engineered to replace the restrictive factory downpipe on EA211 Gen1 and Gen2 engines, aiming to free up additional horsepower, especially on "chipped" vehicles. This downpipe is constructed from T304 seamless stainless steel tubing and features T304 stainless steel flanges, with all welds performed using the TIG method for maximum strength and longevity. Key features include a CNC machined turbine discharge flange, mandrel-bent tubing for smooth exhaust gas flow, and a modular design for straightforward installation. It is equipped with a 200-cell metallic race catalytic converter to enhance exhaust flow. This downpipe is specifically designed for the following models: 2015-2021 VW Jetta SE 1.4T TSI, 2016-2021 VW Golf 1.4T TSI (MQB), 2022-2024 VW Jetta 1.5T TSI EA211, and 2022-2024 VW Taos. It is explicitly NOT COMPATIBLE WITH TWIN-CHARGED or HYBRID ENGINES. Installation of this downpipe requires Stage 2 software to prevent a check engine light. Additionally, this product is sold for competition use and is not legal for use in highway or street vehicles.
