Description

The SPELAB 3 Inch Performance Turbo Downpipe Upgrade is engineered to enhance the exhaust flow from your turbocharged vehicle's turbine housing. Replacing the restrictive factory downpipe with this larger diameter unit allows for more efficient expulsion of exhaust gases, directly contributing to increased power and torque. This improved efficiency means the turbo can spool faster and operate more effectively, as the factory downpipe often acts as a performance bottleneck. Constructed from stainless steel with a mirror polish finish, this downpipe is built for durability and resistance to corrosion. It is designed as a direct replacement for the stock component, aiming for a precise fit in the tight engine bay. This downpipe is specifically designed for 2011-2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 & 3500HD models equipped with the 6.6L Duramax diesel engine. Please note that it will not fit Cab & Chassis trucks. For 2015.5-2016 models, an alternative 304 stainless steel 3'' downpipe exhaust is available. Installation should be performed following SPELAB's instructions, with professional installation recommended if you are not confident in your DIY abilities.
