3-Inch Round Folding Mirror

This left-side mirror incorporates a unique folding and retractable feature, originally developed for the Hindsight mirror. This design offers two primary advantages: increased clearance during tight riding conditions, such as lane splitting, and a reduced overall width for easier motorcycle storage. Operation is intuitive: simply pull the mirror bezel inward to create additional clearance, then fold it back out. A positive stop ensures the mirror returns to its exact rear vision position, while a detent folding mechanism is calibrated to retract upon contact with an immovable object, allowing forward motion without impacting steering control. The pivot features a ball/spring detent for secure positioning in both full open and retracted states, and dust rings ensure maintenance-free operation. Constructed from CNC machined billet 6061 T-6 aluminum with a durable anodized finish, the Hindsight LS is built to last. It features custom convex glass, specifically formed to provide a perfect balance between field of vision and image magnification. To minimize glare, the glass is treated with an automotive-quality mirror tinting, and rubber mounting helps to resist vibration. The lightweight yet sturdy construction ensures the mirror remains stable during high-speed runs or rough road conditions. Bar end adapter mounts are required if you do not intend to slide your motorcycle's controls inward to allow the bar end mirrors to clamp directly onto your 7/8" (22mm) bars or clip-ons.
