Strange's build team utilizes specialized fixtures to ensure the weld-ends are perfectly phased, effectively eliminating driveline vibration. Each shaft undergoes electronic balancing to achieve a total run-out of less than .008 inches. This meticulous balancing and construction provide superior stability at high RPMs and greater torque resistance compared to mild steel driveshafts, making it a vital component for high-horsepower vehicles. To ensure a perfect fit and prevent critical speed failures, a specialized order form is used to determine the correct length, diameter, and operating RPM.
