Constructed from lightweight stamped sheet metal aluminum, the intercooler measures 29 x 12 x 4.5 inches and features 3-inch inlet and outlet connections on opposing sides for efficient airflow. ProCharger manufactures these units to ensure the core spacing allows for proper cooling of downstream components, such as the radiator and condenser, during high-speed operations. Development and testing of these intercoolers follow a rigorous three-fold approach, utilizing 3D computer modeling, aerodynamic test cells, and real-world track and dyno validation. This specific configuration is utilized in a variety of race-ready vehicle platforms, including 2011+ Mustang, 2011+ F-150, SRT 8 Jeep, 2010+ Camaro, LS1 F-body, and GTO applications.
