Description

The CTS Turbo High-Flow Cat is an exhaust downpipe constructed from T304 seamless stainless steel tubing with T304 stainless steel flanges. It features 100% TIG welding, a CNC machined turbine discharge flange, and Torca Accuseal stainless steel clamps. The 3-inch diameter tubing and smooth transitions are designed to optimize exhaust gas flow. This high-flow catalytic converter replaces the restrictive factory downpipe, which is known to hinder performance, especially on chipped vehicles. By improving exhaust flow, this downpipe aims to unlock additional horsepower and enhance the overall sound of your exhaust system without introducing drone when used with the factory exhaust. Proper tuning software, specifically Stage 2 software, is required to avoid a check engine light (CEL). While an optional CEL eliminator can reduce the possibility of a cat efficiency code, it is not 100% effective. For an enhanced auditory experience, disabling the Soundaktor (noise amplifier) is recommended to fully appreciate the motor's natural sound and mitigate potential drone. Fitment includes: 2015+ VW Golf AWD Alltrack/Sportwagen 4motion (including facelift), 2015+ VW Golf R (including facelift), 2015+ Audi A3 Quattro (including facelift), 2015+ Audi S3 Quattro (including facelift), and 2015+ Audi TT/TTS Quattro.
