The PartsShopMax Cobra downpipe provides a performance-oriented solution for lowered Nissan S-chassis vehicles, including S13, S14, and S15 models utilizing KA-T or SR20DET engines in the OEM turbo position. This one-piece design integrates a flex section specifically positioned in the vertical run to maximize ground clearance, effectively preventing scraping on lowered setups while safeguarding the exhaust manifold from engine movement. Constructed from 3-inch stainless steel, the downpipe is hand TIG-welded and includes an extra-thick T2 outlet flange that resists warping. It features two USDM-spec O2 sensor bungs, with an M18x1.5 plug provided. The unit is designed to bolt to any 3-inch catalytic converter or pipe with a 2-bolt flange; it is not a test pipe and does not serve as a cat replacement. Compatibility is specific to KA-T and SR20DET configurations. The downpipe requires selecting the appropriate internal wastegate divider option: use the divider for T25 turbos for cleaner boost control, or choose the divider-removed configuration for T28, GT28RS, and S15 turbos. This product is intended for off-road and motorsport use only and is not legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles. Professional installation is recommended, noting that gaskets and specific OEM exhaust-to-transmission mount hardware are not included.
