The Milltek Sport Large-bore Downpipe and De-cat (SSXAU284) is engineered to significantly enhance the performance and sound of your vehicle's exhaust system. Crafted from aerospace-grade type 304, non-magnetic stainless steel, this component offers exceptional durability and resistance to discoloration, ensuring a long lifespan. This downpipe features a large 3-inch (76.2mm) diameter, which is carefully enlarged over stock to maximize gasflow and deliver ultimate performance gains without sacrificing mid-range torque. The construction utilizes mandrel bending, guaranteeing constant radius bends that further optimize exhaust gas velocity and efficiency. Crucially, this downpipe is a de-cat component, meaning it is intended for off-road or motorsport use only. Installation of this part will inhibit your vehicle from passing a MOT test, as only EC type-approved components are legal for road use. Furthermore, the SSXAU284 must be fitted in conjunction with a Milltek Sport cat-back system and requires a Stage 2 ECU remap to function correctly.
