3-Inch Stainless Steel Packed Resonator

The Corsa PKM2007 is a Pro Series packed resonator engineered to reduce exhaust volume while maintaining airflow. It utilizes a straight-through internal design with a perforated stainless steel tube packed with sound-absorbing material to dissipate sound waves. The resonator is constructed from durable 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish and features a round case shape. With a 2.75-inch inlet and outlet diameter, this resonator is designed for a slip-fit installation and includes a notched and expanded inlet/outlet style for a secure clamp-in fit. It is reversible and does not include a tip, offering flexibility for custom exhaust configurations. The internal construction consists of a perforated stainless tube wrapped in high-temperature synthetic sound absorption material designed not to break down or burn out. This packed resonator is engineered to provide a classic, deep exhaust note and is tested to reduce sound by an estimated 2 to 3 decibels (dB). It is ideal for custom builds, including classic muscle cars and heavily modified late-model vehicles that may not have complex OEM exhaust technologies like AFM or DFM.
