3-Inch T304 Stainless Steel Mandrel-Bent X-Pipe

The Dinan High Flow Middle Exhaust is engineered to upgrade the exhaust system of select BMW M550i xDrive models. This mid-pipe replacement removes the factory resonator and hydro-formed center section, substituting it with larger, 3-inch T304 stainless steel tubing for significantly freer-flowing capabilities. The system incorporates a precisely crafted X-pipe, made from mandrel-bent tubing to minimize restriction, which also serves as a focal point for the enhanced sound profile. This exhaust system is constructed entirely from 100% 304 stainless steel, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. It is designed as a direct bolt-on installation, and all necessary mounting hardware is included. The larger tubing diameter and the removal of the factory resonator contribute to an increased volume and a louder, smoother, and fuller exhaust note compared to the stock system. Key features include 3-inch (76mm) tubing that replaces the stock 70mm tubing for enhanced flow, a resonator delete for increased volume, and an X-pipe crossover for minimum restriction. The system is confirmed to fit with the Dinan Free Flow Axle Back and stock exhaust systems; fitment with other axle-back units is not guaranteed.
