3-Inch T304 Stainless Steel Valved Turbo-Back Exhaust System

The Unitronic Performance Turbo-Back Exhaust System is engineered for the MK7 and MK7.5 Golf R models equipped with the 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 3 MQB engine. It incorporates a CFD-optimized upper downpipe section with a GESi 5" UHO+ catalytic converter, designed to meet or exceed local testing standards and rated for up to 1000HP. The exhaust system includes a valved design that retains OEM valve functionality, a high-density, high-temperature fiberglass wool-packed muffler for sound absorption, and T316 stainless steel V-band flanges for a secure and leak-proof connection. It utilizes a unique Clampco® V-band fastening system for precise alignment and a leak-free seal, ensuring no exhaust play during spirited driving. The muffler design is straight-through and free-flowing to reduce back pressure and enhance performance, while also incorporating a sound reflection chamber to cancel unwanted frequencies and produce a deep exhaust tone. The system comes with multiple exhaust tip options, including polished 4.5" oval tips with engraved Unitronic logos, and optional 4-inch round chrome or black slash-cut tips that are easily swappable. Required software for this system is Stage 2. This turbo-back exhaust system is compatible with the VW Mk7 Golf R (2015-2017) and VW Mk7.5 Golf R (2018-2021), both with the 2.0T engine.
