The Redback Extreme Duty THX42200-CM is a 3-inch turbo-back exhaust system specifically engineered for the Toyota Hilux models equipped with the 1KD-FTV 3.0L D4D engine, spanning from early 2005 to late 2015. This Australian-designed and made exhaust system offers enhanced performance and durability. It features a 200-cell high-flow diesel-specific catalytic converter for improved exhaust flow while maintaining emissions compliance. Constructed from robust 409 stainless steel, the system is coated with premium heat-proof paint for longevity. It boasts extreme-duty hanger brackets, 4-bolt, 10mm thick flange plates, and pressed fire ring gaskets for a secure and reliable fit. A convenient 1/4" NPT removable plug boss is integrated for easy installation of an EGT sensor, allowing for crucial engine monitoring. The transmission type is not a constraint, as this system fits both manual and automatic transmissions. Installation is estimated to take approximately 2.5 hours.
