3-Inch Turbo Exhaust System

The Stinger Performance Engineering complete exhaust system is engineered for 1979-1993 Mustang Fox Body models featuring a 2.3L turbo engine and the Stinger center mount header. This 3-inch, mandrel-bent system is available in either aluminized steel or 409 stainless steel and routes from the turbo outlet all the way to the rear bumper. Alternatively, a muffler delete pipe is available for those seeking an unrestricted exhaust note. The muffler is positioned on the driver's side. All components can also be purchased separately. Installation considerations include the suggestion of a turbo blanket to protect nearby components from the heat of the turbo housing and flex pipes to accommodate engine movement. Note that the system is intended for off-road use only, as it does not include a catalytic converter, though a high-flow catalytic converter can be added as an option. Hangers are not included, but stock hangers can be welded on, or universal hangers can be utilized. This system works exclusively with the Stinger style center mount header.
