The system is noted for offering excellent sound quality and is considered by the manufacturer to be the best fitting and sounding 3-inch exhaust available for the application. Installation notes indicate that the provided gasket is intended for use with an aftermarket downpipe; the OEM crush gasket should be reused when connecting to the factory catalytic converter. Minor bending or modification of the rear heat shielding may be necessary on all models. During installation, ensure the adapter pipe is oriented downwards to avoid interference with the underbody. It is also noted that OEM exhaust hangers can sag, potentially leading to unwanted exhaust movement, and a Torque Solution Exhaust Mount Kit is recommended.
