This system is specifically designed for EG, EK (with EKK2 mounts), and DC2 chassis when utilizing the K-Tuned Passenger Side Radiator kit and an RBC or RRC intake manifold. It can also be adapted for use with factory PRB/PRC manifolds. Constructed from 3-inch diameter mandrel-bent aluminum tubing, this intake is precisely tuned for optimal horsepower gains, as confirmed by dyno testing. The piping is routed to fit efficiently in the engine bay, positioning the front air filter directly behind the front bumper grille to draw in a substantial volume of cold air. For maximum airflow during track days, the air filter can be removed, and an open V-stack option is available, which has shown to provide a slight increase in mph in drag racing applications. It requires the use of K-Tuned's passenger side radiator kit. Compatibility is ensured with RBC/RRC intake manifolds, and can be fitted with PRB/PRC manifolds.
