The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit addresses the common challenge of fitting aftermarket big brake kits with aggressive wheel styles, where large calipers often interfere with wheel clearance. The system utilizes a 3-piston caliper design that retains the aesthetic of Ksport's multi-piston calipers while accommodating tight wheel fitments. The calipers are available in standard colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with options for premium high-polish or custom finishes. Carbon steel caliper brackets, CNC machined for precision, ensure a direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket locations. D.O.T compliant stainless steel braided brake lines are standard, offering improved pedal response and feel by preventing hose expansion under pressure. This kit comes with SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal performance in street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Rotors can be specified as either cross-drilled or slotted; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track-focused vehicles. The standard kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors, one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting hardware and an owner's manual. The specified rotor diameter is 330mm (13 inches) with a 22mm width, and the rotors are drilled and fixed-type. This big brake kit is specifically designed for the Mitsubishi Eclipse from model years 2000 to 2005.
