The Ksport Slimline Big Brake Kit is engineered as a front brake system upgrade specifically for the Acura RSX models from 2002-2006. This kit significantly enhances braking performance with its robust components, including 3-piston calipers, 350mm (13.8-inch) diameter slotted rotors, and 22mm rotor width. The calipers are paired with SC5 Street Pads for optimal stopping power. Constructed with precision, the kit features CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets for durability. It also incorporates D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines. These lines are crucial for improving brake feel, as they resist expansion under pressure compared to stock rubber lines, resulting in a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The kit offers a choice between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use due to their cooling properties, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driven vehicles.
