Ksport developed the Slimline Caliper specifically for this purpose, basing its design on the thickness of OEM single-side piston calipers. This innovative design ensures compatibility with a wider range of wheels, including those with very restricted space between the caliper and the wheel's back. This kit includes forged aluminum brake calipers with a larger pad surface area than OEM for improved braking performance. The 2-piece slotted rotors are vented and feature an aluminum center to reduce rotational mass and improve braking response. This two-piece construction also helps minimize rotor warpage by allowing for more unrestricted expansion and contraction. The calipers maintain a styling similar to Ksport's multi-piston designs while incorporating a single-side piston configuration. Designed as a bolt-on replacement, the components in this kit require no vehicle modifications for installation. The kit also includes stainless steel brake lines, which are crucial for preventing expansion under high temperatures and pressures, leading to a faster and more consistent pedal response. The minimum wheel diameter required for this kit is 17 inches (432mm), with an outside rotor diameter of 330mm (13").
