The UMI Performance 2044 is a 3-point subframe connector kit designed for 1993-2002 GM F-Body convertible models. It is constructed from 1-1/2" x 0.120" mild steel tubing with a powder-coated finish and includes all necessary hardware. The subframe connectors link the front and rear subframes, providing additional cross bracing to improve chassis stiffness and reduce rattles and flexing.

The UMI Performance 2044 subframe connector is a bolt-in solution engineered to enhance the chassis stiffness of 1993-2002 GM F-Body convertibles. This 3-point design meticulously contours to the vehicle's floor pan, ensuring a tight fit with excellent ground and exhaust clearance, setting it apart from competitors. By linking the front and rear subframes and adding cross bracing, this kit significantly reduces common issues like dash rattles, t-top squeaks, and quarter panel flexing, leading to improved weight transfer and better traction for straight launches. Constructed from durable 1-1/2” x 0.120” USA mild steel tubing with a CNC laser-cut ¼” steel front attachment point, this subframe connector is built for longevity and performance. It features a spider web design for extreme chassis stiffness and a round tubular profile for a close fit against the undercarriage. The kit is 100% bolt-in, requiring no cutting, drilling, or welding, and includes all necessary mounting brackets and high-grade hardware. Although designed as a bolt-in system, it can be welded for additional security post-installation. This product is proudly manufactured in Philipsburg, PA, USA, utilizing North American raw materials and finished with a durable powder coat. Installation is straightforward, with detailed instructions provided. While UMI strives for a no-modification installation, on very rare models, minor fuel line relocation may be required.
