3-Port Boost Control Solenoid

The COBB Tuning 3-Port Boost Control Solenoid is an electronic valve that precisely manages the pressure signal to a turbocharger's wastegate actuator. Unlike factory 2-port solenoids, this 3-port design allows the ECU map greater authority over boost control by enabling both pressure bleeding and application to the wastegate actuator. This results in more aggressive boost ramp-ups, tighter boost targets, and improved overshoot management, which is essential for Stage 2 and NexGen Stage 2 calibrations. Constructed with 1/8" low-profile barb fittings that are nickel-coated for corrosion resistance, and featuring Viton spools and seals for longevity, this solenoid is built for performance. The wiring harness is waterproof, and the unit is rated to operate up to 120 psi. It includes a custom aluminum mounting bracket, stainless steel hardware, and necessary boost lines for installation. The 3-Port Boost Control Solenoid installs directly into the factory solenoid location, utilizing the stock wiring harness and vacuum line fittings for a plug-and-play experience. However, tuning is required after installation. COBB's OTS maps for Stage 2 and NexGen Stage 2 configurations are calibrated for this solenoid's enhanced response characteristics. For builds requiring refreshed vacuum line routing, a separate hardware kit is available. This solenoid is specifically designed for the 2002-2007 Subaru WRX (EJ20/EJ255 MT), 2004-2007 Subaru WRX STI (EJ207 MT), and 2006-2007 Mazda Mazdaspeed6 (MZR DISI 2.3T).
