The COBB Tuning 3-Port Boost Control Solenoid is an electronic boost control device designed for turbocharged vehicles. It offers a direct-fit upgrade over the factory 2-port solenoid, providing greater authority and precision over wastegate actuator pressure control. This enables tighter boost management required for specific ECU calibrations.

The solenoid features a 3-port design that allows it to both bleed and apply pressure to the wastegate actuator, leading to more precise boost targeting and better overshoot management. It installs in the factory location using the factory wiring connector and vacuum line fittings, requiring no wiring modification.

The COBB Tuning 3-Port Boost Control Solenoid (BCS) is engineered to enhance boost control capabilities in modern turbocharged vehicles. As a direct replacement for the factory 2-port solenoid, its three-port design provides the Accessport ECU map with significantly greater authority over wastegate actuator pressure. This results in more precise boost targeting, improved overshoot management, and tighter boost control, especially crucial for Stage 2 and NexGen Stage 2 calibrations. The unit is constructed with 1/8" nickel-plated barbed fittings, Viton spools and seals, and a waterproof design for durability. It is rated to operate up to 120psi and includes a custom aluminum mounting bracket and necessary hardware for installation. **CUSTOM TUNING IS REQUIRED** to safely utilize this part. Contact your Protuner to ensure proper configuration with your vehicle's ECU map. COBB's Off-The-Shelf (OTS) maps for Stage 2 and NexGen Stage 2 are calibrated specifically for the 3-Port solenoid's improved response characteristics. A separate hardware kit is available for builds requiring refreshed vacuum lines. This boost control solenoid is confirmed to fit various Subaru models including the WRX (2008-2014), WRX STI (2008-2021), Forester XT (2009-2013), and Legacy GT (2005-2009), among others detailed in the application guide.
