The GrimmSpeed 3-Port Electronic Boost Control Solenoid (BCS) is engineered as a direct-fit upgrade for turbo Subarus, offering superior boost control compared to factory 2-port solenoids. It enables precise, high-resolution boost management, providing tuners with the hardware needed for safe and stable boost levels. This results in quicker turbo spool and consistent boost throughout the entire power curve. Constructed with durability in mind, the solenoid features a balanced valve capable of withstanding up to 120psi without compromising response time, which is under 6 milliseconds. The unit includes nickel-plated 1/8" NPT fittings and a custom coil designed to match ECU voltage, ensuring safe operation with the factory Subaru ECU. Mounting brackets are laser-cut and black zinc plated for corrosion resistance, with integrated PEM nuts for secure connections. Weatherproof terminal seals protect the Subaru wiring harness connector, allowing for a simple plug-and-play installation without splicing wires. The product aims for a 15-minute installation time, supported by written and video guides. The solenoid's robust design includes high-temperature coils and special seals to endure the engine bay's heat and vibration.
