This solenoid interrupts and redirects the boost signal, allowing for quicker and more consistent boost delivery.

The GrimmSpeed 3-Port Electronic Boost Control Solenoid (EBCS) is engineered as a direct replacement for the factory boost solenoid on compatible Subaru models. It offers enhanced boost control capabilities, allowing tuners to safely achieve higher boost numbers. The solenoid is built with a durable VITON o-ring and features a black anodized finish for longevity and aesthetics. Its design includes 1/4in barbed fittings that match factory hose sizes and 1/8" NPT threads, providing flexibility for using included fittings or optional AN fittings with various boost control solutions. It includes a small mounting bracket that secures the solenoid, creating a compact system. For installations involving upgraded turbo inlets, GrimmSpeed also offers an aluminum inlet that is compatible with this EBCS. It is recommended to consult with a tuner immediately following installation, as driving without proper tuning after installing an upgraded boost control solenoid is not advised. This boost control solenoid is specifically designed for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX models equipped with the factory composite turbo inlet or an upgraded GrimmSpeed Aluminum Inlet. It is also compatible with the 2014-2018 Subaru Forester XT. The product has received overwhelmingly positive reviews for its quality, craftsmanship, fitment, and performance.
