The GrimmSpeed 3-Port Electronic Boost Control Solenoid is engineered as a direct, bolt-in upgrade for the MazdaSpeed3, providing enhanced boost control and response. It utilizes a custom-made MAC Valve and nickel-plated brass fittings, ensuring durability and resistance to breakage unlike plastic alternatives. It draws the same amount of power as the factory BCS but offers improved flow (10% more than competition) and faster reaction times, leading to quicker boost response and increased power potential. Installation is straightforward with an included bracket and a plug-and-play wiring harness that eliminates the need for splicing or soldering. Tuners have noted its ability to make acute adjustments via turbo dynamics, allowing for more precise control over boost levels across the entire RPM range. This leads to improved spool times and a smoother, more consistent power band.
