3-Port Electronic Boost Control Solenoid

The GrimmSpeed 3-Port Electronic Boost Control Solenoid (EBCS) is engineered to provide superior boost control for specific Subaru models. It replaces the factory 2-port solenoid, offering higher resolution for more precise management of turbocharger boost. This allows tuners to safely map the vehicle for rock-solid boost levels, potentially improving turbo spool time and maintaining consistent boost throughout the power curve. Constructed with durability in mind, the solenoid features a balanced valve rated for up to 120psi and high-temperature coils to ensure response times of 6 milliseconds or less, even in extreme engine bay conditions. The system includes model-specific, laser-cut mounting brackets with black zinc plating for corrosion resistance and integrated PEM nuts. Nickel-plated, low-profile 1/8" NPT fittings are used, sealed with 120psi thread sealant for a robust installation. The unit utilizes Subaru wiring harness connectors, allowing for a plug-and-play installation without the need for splicing wires. It is compatible with the 2004-2007 Subaru STI, 2006-2007 Subaru WRX, 2004-2008 Subaru Forester XT, and 2004-2006 Subaru Baja XT.
