Description

The Pollak 31-297 is a 3-position ignition starter switch designed for universal applications. It features a die-cast housing and a 3A base type, with a starter lockout function for added security.

The switch provides Off, Accessory/On, and Start positions. The ignition terminal is rated for 8 Amps, the accessory terminal for 30 Amps (inductive), and the start terminal can handle a 75 Amp make and 20 Amp break. These ratings are typical at 14 Volts DC and are tested for 50,000 cycles.
