The Champion 8005-1KC3 is an all-aluminum radiator engineered for superior cooling performance in classic 1971-1973 Ford Mustangs, Mercury Cougars, and Ford Torinos. It boasts a robust 3-row core construction with 5/8" tubes, a 123-core count, and a high fin density of 14 fins per inch, ensuring efficient heat dissipation. This US-made radiator is designed to handle up to 650 HP and features a convenient 8-trans cooler integrated into its design. Key specifications include a core width of 25 7/8", a core height of 16 1/2", and a core thickness of 2 1/4". The inlet is positioned at 1 1/2" RH and the outlet at 1 1/2" LH, with a saddle mount for installation. The radiator is constructed with high-density aluminum and features 100% TIG welding, guaranteeing durability and eliminating the use of epoxy. It is backed by a limited lifetime manufacturer warranty. Installation of this radiator may require attention to the fan spacer length to ensure at least 1/2" (preferably 1") of clearance between the fan and the radiator core.
