Description

The CTS Turbo 3″ Stainless Steel High-Flow CAT Downpipe is engineered to enhance the performance of BMW F80/F82 M3/M4 and F87 M2 Competition models equipped with the S55 engine. Constructed from durable 304 food-grade stainless steel with a 3″ diameter, this downpipe is designed to improve exhaust flow, leading to faster turbo spool, better transient boost response, and higher boost levels. It features laser-cut flanges and factory-like placement for O2 sensors, ensuring proper integration and function. Extensive R&D and CAD simulation were utilized to optimize exhaust gas flow and guarantee a perfect fit with both factory and CTS Turbo mid-pipes. Installation of this downpipe requires Stage 2 software tuning to avoid a check engine light. Bootmod3 software is strongly recommended for optimal performance and compatibility. The product is sold for competition use and is not legal for use in highway or street vehicles.
