3" Stainless Steel Racing Downpipes N54

The VRSF 3″ Stainless Steel Racing Downpipes are engineered as a high-flow exhaust upgrade for the 2008-2010 BMW 535i and 535xi models equipped with the N54 engine. These downpipes are constructed from mandrel-bent, tig-welded 304 grade stainless steel, featuring smooth radius bends to minimize turbulence and enhance exhaust flow. By eliminating the factory catalytic converters, they significantly reduce back pressure. This modification results in improved turbo spool times, a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque (estimated 20-25 HP and 25-30 TQ to the wheels when tuned), and a more aggressive exhaust tone. The downpipes feature a full 3-inch diameter design that necks down to a 2.5-inch flange, optimizing flow compared to systems that reduce diameter closer to the turbos. However, it's noted that XI (All Wheel Drive) models may require modification to ensure clearance around the axle housing. Installation hardware, including Grade 12 mounting hardware and gaskets, is included with the purchase. VRSF backs these downpipes with a Lifetime Warranty against defects and fitment issues.
