3" Stainless Steel Test Pipe

The ISR Performance 3" Stainless Steel Test Pipe is engineered to replace the restrictive factory catalytic converter on your Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T with the Theta II turbocharged engine. This straight-through design eliminates exhaust restriction, promoting improved exhaust flow, reduced backpressure, and ultimately, increased horsepower and torque. The pipe is constructed from durable stainless steel with a 3" diameter, optimized for performance exhaust requirements. This test pipe offers direct bolt-on fitment using factory mounting points, simplifying installation. However, professional installation is recommended. It is crucial to note that removal of the catalytic converter is for off-road use only and may violate federal, provincial, and local laws regarding emissions. Furthermore, removing the catalytic converter will typically trigger a check engine light (CEL) due to the downstream O2 sensor. This can be resolved with an O2 sensor spacer/simulator (sold separately) or by utilizing an ECU tune to disable rear O2 sensor monitoring. Included with the test pipe are mounting hardware and installation instructions. Installation involves allowing the exhaust to cool, removing the factory catalytic converter, and installing the ISR test pipe. Checking for exhaust leaks post-installation is also recommended.
