Overview

The CTS Turbo turbo-back exhaust system is a performance exhaust designed for the 2010-2014 Volkswagen GTI Mk6. It is constructed from T304 stainless steel with hand TIG welding and CNC mandrel bent piping. The system features a true 3" diameter and includes a high-flow catted downpipe and double-wall 3.5" tips.

The CTS Turbo 3" Turbo Back Exhaust system is engineered for the Mk6 GTI 2.0T, designed to enhance performance for both street use and high-horsepower applications. This exhaust is constructed from premium T304 stainless steel, featuring hand TIG-welded 3" diameter piping and water jet cut flanges. The CNC mandrel-bent tubing is polished for a refined appearance, complemented by double-wall 3.5" tips bearing the CTS logo. This turbo-back system includes a high-flow catalytic converter to maintain emissions compliance. The 3" piping diameter is crucial for maximizing turbo spool up and peak power by allowing exhaust gases to exit the turbo and wastegate with less resistance and turbulence. This results in improved power and torque across the entire powerband compared to smaller diameter exhausts.
