3-Way Adjustable Front MRR Strut Pair

The Dobinsons MRA59-A490 is a pair of 3-way adjustable front MRR (Monotube Reservoir Adjustable) struts engineered specifically for the 2024 and newer Toyota Tacoma. These struts offer a lift height range of 0-2 inches and are designed to provide maximum adjustability for optimal ride quality and off-road performance. The terms MRA and MRR are used interchangeably, with 'A' signifying 'Adjustable' in the part number. Built upon Dobinsons' race-winning MRR shock absorber technology, these struts feature a massive 66mm (2.6") diameter DOM seamless steel body that is precision honed and EDP protected. Inside, a 60mm CNC-machined high-flow billet aluminum piston works with a 5140 HV900 hard chrome-plated, heat-treated 18mm micro-polished shaft. The 3-way adjustment system includes 10 stages of high-speed compression, 20 stages of low-speed compression, and 15 stages of rebound adjustment, allowing precise tuning for varying terrain and loads. A 6063 aluminum remote reservoir increases oil capacity and surface area to combat shock fade. Key construction details include an upgraded 3-stage FKM-HNBR sealing system for extended service life, TSUGAMI™ CNC machined components for precise tolerances, and Parker™ braided high-pressure hoses. The package includes reservoir brackets and hardware, a sticker pack, and an adjuster wrench. They are sold in pairs and come with a full 2-year limited warranty. Installation notes: These struts do not include coil springs or top mounts, which are sold separately and should be selected based on desired lift height and load capacity. It is crucial to mount the banjo fitting and hose inwards on the MRA struts. The coil seat for the MRA59-A490 should be set at 251mm (9.9") from the strut bushing eye.
