The Dobinsons MRA59-A684 is a premium 3-way adjustable front shock absorber engineered for Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series and Lexus LX450 models from 1990-1997, specifically designed for vehicles with 6 to 7 inches of suspension lift. This monotube reservoir shock absorber provides exceptional adjustability, allowing fine-tuning of ride quality for various off-road conditions. With 10 stages of high-speed compression adjustment, it excels at handling aggressive, high-speed off-roading through ruts and holes. The 20 stages of low-speed compression adjustment are ideal for controlled crawling and cornering, while the 15 stages of rebound adjustment help manage coil spring behavior and prevent bucking. The shock body measures 66mm O.D. with 3mm thick heavy-duty DOM seamless construction, precision honed for accuracy. It features a 60mm CNC-machined high-flow billet aluminum race piston and an 18mm micro-polished high-strength shock shaft made from 5140 HV900 Hard Chrome Plated, Heat treated steel with a tensile strength exceeding 700MPA. Further enhancing performance and durability are TSUGAMITM CNC machined components for precise tolerances, ParkerTM braided high-pressure hoses, a T6 6061 height-adjustable spring seat, and a Carbon-Fibre/PTFE/Disulphide composite wear band for low-friction, low-wear operation. The 60mm remote reservoir is constructed from 6063 aluminum. The design is fully rebuildable. Designed, developed, and tested in Australia by Dobinsons Spring & Suspension, these shocks are built to perform in the harshest global conditions. They offer a significant increase in performance over standard shock absorbers, addressing issues like shock fade and the inability of stock components to cope with additional weight or extreme terrain. The larger bodies, bores, and enhanced valving dramatically improve vehicle handling, control, and reduce shock fade.
