3-Way Adjustable Front Struts with Remote Reservoirs

The Dobinsons MRA59-A221 is a pair of 3-way adjustable front struts engineered to provide superior ride quality and off-road capability for compatible Toyota and Lexus vehicles. These monotube struts feature remote reservoirs, allowing for precise damping adjustments to suit various driving conditions and terrain. The construction of the MRA59-A221 emphasizes durability and performance. It utilizes a 50mm CNC machined high-flow billet aluminum race piston and a robust 56mm O.D. heavy-duty DOM seamless shock body with a precision-honed interior. The 18mm shock shaft is made from 5140 HV900 hard chrome-plated, heat-treated, and micro-polished steel for strength and smooth operation. An upgraded 3-stage FKMu2010HNBR sealing system and a carbon-fiber/PTFE composite wear band ensure longevity and low friction. The spring seat is T6 6061 aluminum and height-adjustable, allowing for fine-tuning of ride height up to a 0-2.5" front lift. These struts offer extensive adjustability with 10 stages of high-speed compression damping for aggressive off-roading, 20 stages of low-speed compression for crawling and cornering, and 15 stages of rebound control to manage coil behavior and prevent bucking. The design is fully rebuildable and intended as a direct bolt-on for ease of installation. The Dobinsons MRA59-A221 is specifically designed for a range of Toyota and Lexus models, including the Toyota Tacoma 4x4 (2005-2019), Toyota FJ Cruiser (2006-2009), Toyota 4Runner 4th Gen (2003-2009), Lexus GX470, and Toyota Hilux (2005-2015).
