3-Way Adjustable Monotube Reservoir Strut

The Dobinsons MRA59-A228 is a 3-way adjustable monotube reservoir strut engineered to provide maximum adjustability for optimal ride quality. It offers differentiated damping settings with 10 stages for high-speed compression, ideal for aggressive off-roading, and 20 stages for low-speed compression, suited for crawling and cornering. Additionally, 15 stages of rebound damping control coil movement and prevent bucking. Constructed with robust materials, this strut features a 3mm thick heavy-duty DOM seamless 56mm O.D. shock body, precision-honed to +/- 0.04mm. The high-flow billet aluminum race piston measures 50mm, and the shock shaft is a 5140 HV900 hard chrome plated, heat-treated 18mm micro-polished unit with a minimum tensile strength exceeding 700MPA. It also incorporates an upgraded 3-stage FKM/HNBR sealing system and Parker braided high-pressure hoses. Designed, developed, and tested in Australia, these MRR shock absorbers are built to perform in extreme conditions worldwide, offering a significant increase in performance over standard shocks. They combat shock fade and improved handling and control, especially when the vehicle is loaded. This strut assembly is suitable for 0-2.5" of lift and is designed as a direct bolt-on for Toyota Fortuner 2015 onwards and Hilux Revo 2015 onwards models. It is compatible with original or Dobinsons springs. When adjusting for vehicle lean, it's noted that Toyota IFS systems have a 2:1 ratio, requiring a 1/4" adjustment for every 1/2" of lean.
