The Acuity 3-Way Adjustable Performance Shifter is engineered for the 8th Gen Honda Civic, offering a significant upgrade over stock for both street and track use. This shifter allows for independent adjustment of gear throw (10%-50% shorter) and gate spacing (5%-40% narrower), enabling drivers to precisely tune their shifting experience. The shift knob height is also adjustable across a 40mm (1.6-inch) range. Key design elements include a triple-spherical architecture and a divorced spring design for a confident shift feel that fits under the factory console. Constructed from a combination of aluminum and stainless steel for rigidity and optimal weight, the shifter utilizes two PTFE-lined precision spherical bearings for smooth, low-friction operation and long-term durability. The centering mechanism has been enhanced with a thicker, over-wound spring and cushioned spring legs, resulting in a 100% increase in centering force for the 8th Gen Si and Type R models, ensuring snappy and quiet centering. This shifter is designed for the 2006-2011 Honda Civic (all 5MT & 6MT), 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si, and 2007-2011 Honda Civic Type R (FD2 & FN2). It is compatible with all M10x1.5 and OEM Honda/Acura shift knobs. A break-in period of 2-4 weeks of daily driving is expected as the internal bearings burnish, leading to a smoother and more consistent shift feel. Adjustment specifics vary by model: for '06-'08 Civic Si, knob height adjusts between 25mm taller and 15mm lower; for '09-'11 Civic Si, it's 10mm taller to 30mm lower; and for '07-'11 FD2/FN2 Type-R, it adjusts from stock to 40mm lower. Gate spacing reductions also vary: 5%-40% narrower for '09-'11 Si and '07-'11 Type R, and 10% wider to 30% narrower for '06-'08 Si.
