Description

The Pypes Catted X-Pipe replaces the restrictive stock mid-pipe in 1996-1998 Ford Mustang GT models for improved performance and exhaust sound. It provides a throaty low-rumble and gravelly mid-range growl. Includes high-flow catalytic converters with high platinum load, ensuring lower emissions and 48-state EPA compliance. Constructed from rugged 2.50-inch wide, 409 stainless steel tubing, mandrel-bent for rigidity and turbulence-free flow. Catalytic converters are 304 stainless steel with a factory-style ceramic substrate. Requires an ECU re-tune.
