30 Spline Axle

The Driveshaft RA8506X5 is a high-performance direct-fit axle engineered for 2015-20 Ford Mustangs. This axle leverages Ovaco 300M material for all its splines, a highly regarded steel used in numerous world-record-breaking IRS/CV driven vehicles. It incorporates 4340 billet CV mounts and a proven 108mm CV design, featuring 300m billet chromoly cages and races. Specifically for the 1400HP rated axles, larger 30 spline bars are utilized for enhanced strength. The construction emphasizes durability and strength through processes like CNC spline rolling, which forges and compresses the metal's microstructure for superior resilience compared to cut splines. The axle is also finished with Neo HPCC1 grease and a higher durometer Neoprene boot for robust performance under demanding conditions. Additionally, end caps are integrated onto the CV housings for easier disassembly, featuring blue RTV sealant for a reliable seal. This ensures the axle can handle significant power output, making it a top-tier upgrade for the S550 Mustang platform.
