300 Series Stainless Steel Shifter Cable Bushing Adapter

This adapter directly reduces the mechanical advantage of the stock shift lever, resulting in approximately 20% shorter gear throws and less longitudinal play in the shifter's motion. Constructed from durable 300 series stainless steel, the adapter is built for strength and corrosion resistance. Acuity's unique clamping nut design ensures a secure installation, preventing unwanted movement. To ensure proper clearance between the moving shifter parts and the mounting bracket, the kit includes 7.5mm (0.3in) spacers that raise the shifter height. It is critical to install these spacers to avoid interference. Installation involves cleaning the shift lever with the included alcohol wipe. No additional grease is needed due to the self-lubricating PTFE pivot cap. The kit also comes with self-retaining washers to aid in holding the spacers during installation.
