The Rockford Fosgate M2-300X4 is a 300-watt, 4-channel Element Ready™ amplifier engineered for demanding marine audio environments. This full-range Class-D amplifier boasts high efficiency, reducing electrical system load, and offers versatile operation at 4Ω or 2Ω stereo, along with 4Ω bridged/mono capability. It incorporates C.L.E.A.N. circuitry for precise gain adjustments, indicated by clip detection LEDs, and a P.O.W.E.R. Designed for durability, the M2 Series amplifiers feature UV-resistant protection and internal conformal coating to safeguard electronics from water, dust, corrosion, and vibration. The UV-stable, powder-coated cast aluminum heatsink ensures efficient thermal management, while zinc nickel-plated marine-grade brass connection terminals provide robust connections. This amplifier is CTA-2006 compliant, ensuring its power ratings are accurate. Key features include balanced differential inputs to eliminate noise, integrated power and speaker terminals, and fully adjustable 12 dB/octave Butterworth crossovers for both high-pass and low-pass filtering (50 Hz - 250 Hz) on all channels, with an all-pass filter option. It supports 2/4 channel input selection and features an 'Auto-Sense' turn-on function for integration with OEM and aftermarket radios. The amplifier also includes protection circuits for short circuits, over-current, and low impedance stability. The M2-300X4 has a frequency response of 20 Hz - 20 kHz and a low-level input sensitivity range of 150mV - 4V, or 450mV - 12V for high-level inputs.
