This kit replaces key components in the P7100 Bosch pump's governor, increasing the engine's maximum speed to 3000 RPM. This can reduce transmission gear shifts and unlock new engine power levels.

The BD Power 3000 RPM Governor Spring Kit is designed to enhance the performance of 1994-1998 Dodge 5.9L 12-valve Cummins engines equipped with the P7100 Bosch pump. By replacing specific components within the governor assembly, this kit allows the engine to achieve a higher maximum speed of 3000 RPM. This increase in RPM capability can lead to a reduction in transmission gear shifts and a noticeable increase in available horsepower and torque. Installation of this kit is not a DIY task and requires a technician with specific P7100 training. It directly addresses the governor within the Bosch P7100 injection pump. Please note: This product cannot be sold for use on licensed California or Colorado vehicles.
